Duesseldorf Photo Weekend 2016
For the fifth edition of the Duesseldorf Photo Weekend, 12 – 14 February 2016, more than 50 galleries, museums, institutions and showrooms will be presenting a wide-ranging programme across the spectrum of photography. After the huge success of recent years, the Duesseldorf Photo Weekend has become a mainstay of the cultural art scene in Duesseldorf and also internationally the festival attracts more and more attention. 2016 the span of the exhibitions extend from the beginnings of photography in the 19th century to contemporary controversial debates about the role of the medium.

Portfolio Review
At the Portfolio Review fifteen emerging artists will present their work to an international panel of renowned photography experts. It will take place on February 13 2016 at the NRW-Forum Duesseldorf from 12 to 7 pm. Each presentation will be about 20 Minutes long. The Portfolio Review is a public event and the images will be screened with a projector.
This year’s jurors are Hester Kejiser, Gregory Barker, Sheyi Bankale, Böhm/Kobayashi, Steve Macleod, Clare Strand, Kris Scholz and Paola Paleari.
